VPT sets record in timber discharge

The Port of Visakhapatnam has established an all – time record in unloading of timber logs in a day.
According to an official release issued by Visakhapatnam Port Trust (VPT), a quantity of 2,798 tonne of timber logs was discharged in a day (on May 22, 2011), from merchant vessel M.V. Dong Young at West Quay-1 surpassing the previous best discharge of 2,317 tonne on January 1, 2003 from M.V Morkot Naree.
M/s. Synergy Shipping Private Limited are the stevedores and steamer agents for the above vessel.

Synergy Shipping Private Limited., Visakhapatnam has set a record by discharging 5082.8004 MT I CBM Import Mynmar timber Logs at Visakhapatnam Port from the vessel M.V JINDAL VARUNA in a record time of 27 hrs 15 minutes by surpassing its previous best of 2,799 MT in 19hrs 45 minutes on 1-6-2011.
According to the company’s Executive Director, Mr. M.Venu Gopal, while agency and stevedoring serices were handled by Synergy Shipping Pvt. Ltd., the inter-carting services were provided by M/s. Berry Logistics Pvt. Ltd.

M/s. Synergy Shipping Pvt Ltd., Visakhapatnam has set a record by discharging 3368 CBM / MT of Imported Myanmar Timber Logs at Visakhapatnam Port from the vessel M.V. JINDAL VARUNA in a record time of 20 hrs 30 minutes by surpassing their previous record of 2,799 MT in 19 hr 45 Minutes.
According to the Company’s Executive Director, Mr. M. Venu Gopal, the vessel M.V. JINDAL VARUNA was berthed at WQ-1RE at 0424 hrs on 25 th February, 2012 and commenced discharge at 1000 AM on the same day and completed the entire cargo discharge by 0630hrs. on 26 th February, 2012. While Agency and Stevedoring service were handled by Synergy Shipping Pvt. Ltd., the Inter- carting service were provided by M/s. Berry Logistics Pvt Ltd.

Record Discharge of Import Timber by Synergy Shipping

Synergy Shipping set a record discharge of Import Timber Logs form vessel M.V. Naimun Nasir.
The agency and stevedoring services of Synergy Shipping discharged 3036 MT / CBM in record time of 22 hrs and 30 minutes thus surpassing the previous best of 2799MT in 19 hrs and 45 minutes. Incidentally the previous best record was also set by Synergy Shipping.
The company in a statement said that the record achievement was an honor and would add another feather to the crown of VPT

The discharge of entire cargo was completed in a time of hrs and 30 minutes. Stevedoring and inter- carting was alsi handled by M/s. Synergy Shipping Pvt.Ltd

Synergy shipping executes record output in discharging timber logs

VISAKHAPATNAM, May 25: M/s.Synergy Shipping Pvt Ltd., Visakhapatnam have executed a record output in discharging Timber Logs at Visakhapatnam Port.
In a press release, M. Venu Gopal, Executive Director, M/s Synergy Shipping , said that they have discharged 2799 MT/ CBM Import Myanmar Timber Logs at Visakhapatnam Port from the vessel M.V. DONG YOUNG in a record time of 19 hrs 45 minutes by surpassing the previous best of 2,317 MT in 24 hrs .
The Vessel M.V DONG YOUNG was berthed at WQ-1RE at 1945 hrs on 21 st May, 2011 and commenced discharge at 0615 hrs on 22 nd onwards and completed entire cargo discharge by 0200 hrs on 23 rd May 2011. Mr. Venu Gopal said that Synergy Shipping thank all the cooperation extended for this achievement. While agency and stevedoring services were handled by Synergy Shipping Pvt. Ltd., the inter-carting services were provided by M/s. Berry Logistics Pvt. Ltd., the release added.

The Myanmar Timber Logs of 5082.8 MT was discharged in a record time of 27hrs 15 minutes from the vessel M.V Jindal Varuna (berthed at Beth no.WQ-4) on 30 th May 2011, surpassing the earlier best of 2799 MT in 19 hrs 45 minutes from Vessel M.V Dong Young on 21 st May 2011.
While the Agency and stevedoring services were handled by M/s. Synergy Shipping, the inter – carting services were provided by M/s. Berry Logistics Pvt. Ltd.
Mr. M. Venu Gopal, the Executive Director of M/s. Synergy Shipping said that in the history of Timber unloading in ports, this was one of major achievement. He thanked all the authorities for their co-operation in achieving this record discharge.
